The plants for Duschlbaur's natural herbal essences grow in the medicinal garden of St. Georgen Abbey on Lake Längsee in Carinthia , either wild-grown or from a biologically controlled permaculture system in Treffen am Ossiacher See. Herbs that cannot be cultivated in Carinthia grow in their natural environment on controlled farms.

The medicinal garden in St. Georgen am Längsee has existed for over 100 years and was revitalized over 10 years ago and designed in the shape of a leaf. The successful growth of this medicinal garden is due to the special microclimate of Lake Längsee . The surface of Lake Längsee warms the surrounding slopes, thus promoting healthy, vigorous plant growth. Viticulture at Lake Längsee is a testament to the high quality of the soil and the special microclimate. Markus Gruze of Weingut Georgium is the master of the Burgundy vines at Lake Längsee.

This sensing of natural forces at Carinthian power spots stems not only from our love for plants and the associated, proverbially "growing" connection.
