This regenerative and healing power was discovered by the Belgian physician Dr. Pol Henry in the 1950s. He researched plant embryonic tissue and discovered a connection between its vital information and its therapeutic effects. He named this method "phytoembryotherapy." The term "gemmotherapy" was introduced by the French physician Dr. Max Tétau.
In 1982, Dr. Pol Henry summarized his research findings in his book "Phytembryothérapie – Gemmothérapie : thérapeutique par les extraits embryonnaires vegétaux." In it, he describes the biochemical protein composition in the blood of his subjects before and after treatment with the bud preparations. The treatment showed positive changes in various organs.
