The natural ingredients of theRed clover tincture dropsare: water, alcohol, red clover.
To produce these very valuable drops we use the herb with the flower.
The typical red clover, also called meadow clover, has three-segmented leaves. Rarely, it forms four-segmented clovers, which are eagerly sought after and sometimes found by young and old as lucky charms. Who knows, perhaps our red clover herbal extract contains a four-segmented lucky charm?
In addition to its role as a lucky charm, red clover is increasingly being used as a fodder plant. Because it fixes nitrogen, it is also a green manure alternative.
Red clover has become an indispensable part of our meadows, forest clearings, and roadsides. It also thrives in the high mountains up to 2,500 meters.
Red clover, like peas and beans, belongs to the legume family (Fabaceae). The clover genus includes over 200 different clover species, the most common of which are white clover (Trifolium repens) and purple clover (Trifolium rubens).
In its natural habitat, the perennial, herbaceous red clover grows up to 40 cm tall and, as a deep-rooted plant, can develop taproots up to 2 meters long. The leaves, arranged in groups of three or sometimes four, are finely hairy on both the upper and lower surfaces.
Rose trefoil blooms from late April to mid-October. Its familiar pink, red, or white heads appear. The spherical inflorescence consists of up to 100 individual flowers. The flowers contain a lot of nectar and are an important food source for bees and other insects.
