The natural ingredients ofEchinacea tincture dropsare:Water, alcohol, purple coneflower.
To produce these very valuable drops we use the plant including flowers and roots.
The name Echinacea originates from the Greek "echinos," meaning hedgehog. The domed flower base with its long tubular flowers and prickly chaff leaves is reminiscent of a hedgehog, explaining the German name "Igelkopf" (Igelhead).
The purple coneflower (Echinacea purpurea) is the largest of the three coneflower species (Echinacea pallida, Echinacea angustifolia) and can grow up to 180 cm tall. These three species also differ botanically in the color of their ray florets, which range from white to purple, and in the different colors and shapes of their roots. The leaves come in a variety of shapes and hairs. As a true insect plant, butterflies, bees, bumblebees, and beetles flock to the plant during its flowering period in late summer.
