Spring fatigue
Drive them away with the help of nature!
We're all actually looking forward to spring. So why are we often tired, listless, and not in the best mood? This phenomenon, known as "spring fatigue," is a result of the body's transition from winter to spring. Melatonin levels are only just adjusting to the changing daylight. This causes difficulty falling asleep and staying asleep. The result is irritability and concentration problems. Since serotonin production also changes, we tend to drag ourselves through the day feeling listless.
Some herbs can help our bodies slowly adjust to warmth and more daylight.
Calming and sleep-promoting Lemon balm, Linden blossom and St. John's wort works.

Start spring fresh with a healthy mix of different juices:
Mix the following juices:
- 100 ml sauerkraut juice
- 200 ml carrot juice
- 300 ml celery juice
- 400 ml beetroot juice
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- Sweeten with a little honey if desired
- Drink sip by sip from the moment you get up until lunchtime
- Please store the remaining juice mixture in the refrigerator until the next morning.
Or simply rub away the tiredness with a homemade rosemary and coffee scrub.
And it goes like this…
Stir:
- 300 g coarse salt
- 100 g well-dried coffee grounds
- 2 tablespoons ground rosemary and
- almond oil
- into a thick porridge
- Gently rub your body with this scrub before bathing or showering
- If you need it quickly, a small portion is enough as a hand or foot scrub.
This natural scrub has a refreshing, invigorating and firming effect.
A healthy diet and plenty of exercise in the fresh air are beneficial! This makes adjusting to the new season much easier!
